New Year greetings SBS Community!

Our world is still in the grip of the Covid-19 pandemic with new variants emerging, increased infection, mortality; vaccine inequality, and travel restrictions. The social impact of the pandemic is equally devastating: job losses; deepening poverty and inequalities; food insecurity; increased burden on healthcare systems negatively impacting workers; increases in mental health challenges and rising levels of violence against women and children. As an interfaith gender justice movement, how do we apply gender analysis to the Covid-19 context? What can we learn from the application of gender analysis to other pandemics such as HIV and AIDS?
