Side by Side is as strong as its members. We are a global movement, drawing in faith institutions, faith-based organisations, and individuals from many different countries and cultures.
We are people of faith, faith leaders, and faith-based organizations (FBOs) across the world committed to partnering together to challenge barriers to gender justice.
At Side by Side Gender Justice, we are on a mission to catalyze transformative change towards gender equality and justice.
Rooted in the belief that every individual is inherently valuable and deserving of dignity, our movement unites people of faith, leaders, and organizations from diverse backgrounds to confront barriers to gender equality and promote positive social change.

Side by Sides's Mission is to shift values, beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and practices to recognize gender inequality as unacceptable and contrary to religious teaching and practice
Vision
Side by Side’s vision is to see all people free from cultural and interpersonal systems of privilege and oppression, and from violence and repression rooted in gender inequality
World We Seek
- Gender inequality is no longer considered acceptable.
- Behaviours and practices no longer condone, gender injustice
- Gender based violence is eliminated and no longer tolerated under any social, political, religious or cultural circumstances.
